Welcome to The Wendy House, a special place for special people. We have two nurseries in the West Midlands ― one at Wythall and one at Lickey.
Choosing a nursery for the most important person in your life is a huge decisio ― for you and for them.
Your priority is to keep your child safe and secure, and to give them the best possible start in life.
The good news is that your priority is exactly the same as ours. At The Wendy House we have channelled vast amounts of research, thought, energy and enthusiasm into creating a unique environment where your child will have every opportunity to develop into a confident, happy, secure little person.
We strive to be different; we create a little bit of magic every day, and we look forward to sharing it with you.
The Wendy House day nursery was the brain child of Victoria Vann, who started her career as a nursery nurse at the age of 16. Victoria’s ethos has always been to create a vibrant, stimulating environment where children can thrive. She is passionate about the importance of early years education and continuous improvement, always going the extra mile to ensure the children at The Wendy House have a range of activities above and beyond the core early years curriculum to motivate, inspire and fuel their desire to learn.
We have two nursery settings, Wythall and Lickley, both of which are located conveniently so they are accessible from main roads into and out of commuting routes, making it as easy as possible to drop-off and pick-up.
The nursery is open 07.30-18.00hrs, 51 weeks of the year, closing for one week at Christmas and all UK Bank Holidays. We will apply on your behalf for the free early years funding available from the first complete term after your child’s third birthday.
We welcome childcare vouchers, and our fees are payable a month in advance.
We pride ourselves on creating a safe, inclusive environment for all children.

“The boards are brilliant and the staff put so much effort into making the room exciting and engaging. The staff are what sets the nursery apart from others.” Amy Ashton
